MATARAM-Pariwisata Indonesia tengah berduka akibat virus korona. Khususnya, pada kunjungan wisatawan mancanegara.
“Kalau untuk pesanan wisman belum ada, tetapi adanya tiket murah itu justru banyak yang domestik tamunya,” kata General Manajer (GM) Aruna Senggigi Weni Kristanti, kemarin (9/3).
Tidak hanya Hotel Aruna saja yang merasakan dampak ini. Tapi, hotel-hotel di kawasan Senggigi, Lombok Barat merasakan hal yang serupa.
Dia menilai, adanya kebijakan pemerintah yang memberikan diskon tiket pesawat membuat tingkat kunjungan domestik meningkat. Jika dibandingkan dengan wisman. Lantaran adanya travel warning dilakukan oleh sejumlah negara.
Selain itu, kunjungan ke destinasi yang sekarang ini sudah ditentukan ini terus meningkat. Mengingat ada 10 destinasi wisata prioritas yang diberikan diskon tiket pesawat.
“Kita harapkan ada kegiatan dari pemerintah dan terutama lokal. Karena kalau dari luar (wisman) beberapa sudah melakukan travel warning,” ujarnya.
Menurutnya, kondisi kuarter pertama di bulan ini yang low season pasti cukup berdampak. Dan yang jelas untuk reservasi atau booking online tidak seperti bulan-bulan sebelumnya. Sehingga, untuk pesanan lebih baik jika dibandingkan tahun lalu.
“Artinya, dengan adanya virus ini cukup berdampak secara tingkat hunian. Penurunan 10-15 persen. Cuma bagaimana menyakinkan wisatawan untuk datang ke sini (NTB),” tuturnya.
Sekarang ini, hotel harus berusaha sedemikian rupa sehingga menyakinkan para wisatawan atau tamu yang akan berkunjung. Bukan hanya di Aruna, tetapi seluruh NTB. Karena kalau tidak melakukan usaha, tentu tidak bisa hanya berpasrah saja.
“Sebagai pelaku wisata pun juga sudah siap dan cepat tanggap untuk melakukan antisipasi (covid-19) sehingga membuat rasa aman dan nyaman bagi para tamu. Dan tidak perlu khawatir untuk tetap melakukan kunjungan ke NTB,” jawabnya.
General Manager Jayakarta Hotel Cherry Abdul Hakim mengatakan, untuk sementara ini, kunjungan tamu asing cukup berkurang. Tetapi masih dapat tercover oleh tamu domestik. Jika dibandingkan pada priode yang sama di 2019. Karena, didukung dengan ada diskon tiket pesawat yang diberikan oleh pemerintah pusat.
“Jadi poinnya, asing turun, tapi domestik naik karena harga tiketnya bagus,” katanya.
Meskipun kunjungan wisman menurun tetapi masih bisa digenjot oleh kunjungan domestik. Bahkan pada bulan ini pihaknya tidak sampai merugi. Sehingga diharapkan untuk kondisi akibat korona bisa cepat terselesaikan.
“Semoga bulan April, wabah korona mereda. Sekarang ini untuk di hotel kami tingkat hunian sekitar 50-60 persen,” jelasnya. (tea/r5)
